Super high-dose vitamin D3 (540,000 IU x 1) does not reduce mortality in #ICU patients with vitamin D deficiency. Maybe harmful in certain subgroups. Results differ from the phase 2 trial (https://t.co/6kXNHzwnwS), which maybe due to differences in design.
