So often I see a referral for iron deficiency anemia in a woman who has been wearing diapers her entire adult life during her menstrual cycle and never tested for von wilebrand’s disease. Or low von wilebrand levels. Thank you so much for this article. htt

Thank you for writing this! Every time I teach bleeding disorders to medical students are least one woman approaches me after to ask if she should go be tested for a bleeding disorder, and I say yes! We must be better about testing!
