こういうのは身長だけなのかな? 一つの身体の現象に一万個以上の遺伝子が関わっていることが多いんだとすると 遺伝子へのイメージがずいぶんと変わるような気がする
主旨が違うもしれないけど、そもそも身長って 足の長さ+胴体の長さ+頭の長さ の様に分割できるし、これ以上にも細分化できる。 部分の長さを担保する遺伝子が異なると想像すれば違和感は無くなる。

This is very timely! Someone found the missing heritability for height. It takes >7000 variants to explain 45% of phenotypic variance in populations of European ancestry but these only explain around 14–24% in populations of other ancestries
